Small Business Saturday UK Winner 2014
Well....it's been an interesting couple of months.
Since my last blog, work has gone manic, but in a good way :-)
I've continued with social media training for authors, continued in my role as Marketing Director for City Fiction, which took me very recently to BAFTA for a book launch, which was amazing. Written press releases, helped on events, written proposals, managed websites, organised and coordinated charity booklets and marketing material. Secured 2 charity fundraising events with a major retailer. Arranged interviews for 'The Twa Tenors' in Scotland...that's the beauty of working as a virtual assistant, I can work anywhere and absolutely love what I do :-)
Back in July, I put in an application to Small Business Saturday UK 2014, in the hope that I might be selected as 1 of only 100 businesses to be profiled in the run up to Small Business Saturday UK 2014 on 6th December. Then hearing that last year the 100 businesses were invited to a reception in Downing Street with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, how exciting I thought.
I have always been passionate about small businesses and helping them to 'lighten their load' to help them grow their business......so I decided to apply.
I was thrilled to receive an email early August to say that Agile Administration Services had indeed been selected....whoop, whoop, I danced around the house for a long time :-)
I am proud to support, inspire and promote small businesses all of the time, not just on 6th December.
I was interviewed by Wrappler.com, another very lucky #smallbiz100 winner. Here's the interview, thank you Caroline...blog.wrappler.com/wrappler/in-the-spotlight-small-biz-100s-cathy-from-agile-admin
